Fortress Diagnostics’ Research and Development (R&D) team is committed to discovering and developing novel and innovative clinical testing solutions to provide the highest level of healthcare, globally, through continued investment in new technologies.
We reinvest a staggering 30% of turnover into R&D each year and since 2000 have developed a number of new clinical chemistry, coagulation, and immunoassay products from conception and clinical trials to regulatory clearance and full-scale production.
In addition, our team of highly-skilled and experienced scientists work to optimise our current product range by continuously improving existing performance claims therefore offering the best quality products on the market.
Collaborations
Our expert R&D team work collaboratively with many universities and research institutions including Queen’s University Belfast, the University of Cape Town and the University of Nottingham to develop custom tests, making new ideas a viable entity by utilising in-house resources at our UK-based ISO 13485:2016-accredited facility.
