The Belfast Telegraph Business Awards ceremony, in partnership with Ulster Bank, was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast and attended by almost 500 of Northern Ireland's brightest and best business people.
The prestigious awards showcase the best of Northern Ireland Business with trophies and highly commended certificates presented across 13 categories.
The judges commented on Fortress Diagnostics’ wide distribution to areas around the world where medical care and diagnostics are most needed, including many war zones and commented:
Fortress Diagnostics presented a formidable list of achievements in the development and manufacture of medical diagnostic kits, now selling in over 100 countries and being further developed in co-operation with three international universities.

We’re delighted to receive this award. We deliver our diagnostic products to over 100 international markets, some of which are notoriously difficult to reach due to ongoing conflicts. For example, we currently have orders ready to go to Yemen, but have found it difficult to find airfreight services to deliver the products to the required healthcare facilities.
Demand is very high and it is important that we do our best to help out in markets where our products are vitally and urgently required.
