Glucose

Glucose measurements are used in the diagnosis and monitoring of carbohydrate metabolism disorders including diabetes mellitus, neonatal hypoglycaemia, idiopathic hypoglycaemia and pancreatic islet cell carcinoma. Elevated levels of glucose are found most commonly in the case of diabetes mellitus but can also be caused by endocrine disorders, pancreatic disease, liver or kidney disease.

Fortress Diagnostics manufactures GGT reagents designed for Hitachi 917, Olympus AU600/400/640/2700 and CA 180/270/400 Furuno/ Daytona systems.
