Monoclonal Grouping Kit

Monoclonal Grouping Kit

Human ABO blood groups were discovered by Karl Landsteiner in 1901. Four common phenotypes are now recognised: O, A, B, and AB. The RhD antigen was discovered by Levine and Stetson in 1939.The Rhesus blood group is the second most important blood group system and the D-antigen is the most immunogenic of all the non-ABO antigens. These Monoclonal Blood Grouping reagents are used to determine the presence or absence of A, B or D antigens on the red blood cells of blood donors or patients requiring a blood transfusion.

The Fortress Diagnostics Monoclonal Grouping kit consists of Anti-A, Anti-B and Anti-D reagents and is available in 3 x 10ml and 4 x 10ml kits.
