Lambda Light Chains Reagents

The Fortress Diagnostics Lamba Light Chains reagents are intended for the quantitative in vitro determination of bound and free immunoglobulins of the Lambda type in serum or plasma.

Measurement of Light chains immunoglobulin types help in the diagnosis of Multiple myeloma, Waldenstroms macroglobulinemia and lymphocytic neoplasms. Various connective tissue disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus have increased production of light chain types. The Lambda: Lambda ratio is normally around 2:1.
